VW Polo 9N Matt black valences

For a bit of flair, the VW Black Magic paint scheme on the Polo needed something to distinguish it from the rest. It was decided to make the front and rear plastic valences matt black, and smooth it at the same time.
As seen in the horrible quality pic, the two plastic valences are textured with millions of small nobblies.

This was sanded smooth as best as possible.

The polypropylene (plastic) primer was next to go on, to ensure strong bonding of the paint anto the valence

MS Primer was applied next, and tediously sanded smooth to give it that super smoothed look before the matt black goes on. As seen here, smoooth...

I have a strange soft spot for anything matt black...

And after a coat of the black stuff, the end result is super neat, and shows off nicely against the pearly VW Black Magic...
