Polo 9N3 gloss black details

So this here neat looking VW Polo 9N3 is Mark's. Its the 96kw TDi model and has seen numerous aesthetic mods done to enhance the look of the car.
The bits he wanted me to paint was the side mirrors and the B-pillars. The B-pillars is matt black and actually splits the nice shiny effect that the tinted windows create . The colour he was after was gloss black. Nice

So I got stuck right in to get the desired look and sanded them down, and applied MS primer. Sanded down again and applied the black, called Finishing black which is like a mirror finish.

After struggling a bit to get the look perfect, and after repainting the bits quite a couple times, the final effect looked perfect and this is how the bits came out in the end!

And this is how it looks on the car! The B-pillars create the effect of a large side window, and the black mirrors on the white Polo looks real neat!

Storm Beige Golf 4 GTi - colourcoding

A good mate of mine drives this minter of a GTi. A 2003 model 110kw 1.8T. For some refreshment, he decided to get the lower two valences colourcoded, the same as the rest of the car - VW Storm Beige is the colour in question.

Here are the before photos:

First, the lips were sanded to remove any and all nasty scratches, and a coet of plastic primer was applied

Next the MS primer was laid on the valences, to ensure a good hold.

The base coat was then appied and shortly after it dried, the top clear coat was splashed on to give a shiny smooth end result

After re-fitting the valences, the end result is a phatter and more aggressive look! The car looks much nicer and more rounded off.
